The St. Vincent volleyball team swept visiting Notre Dame 25-11, 25-22 on Wednesday.

The win marked the second time this season the Squaws (15-7-2) have knocked off Notre Dame in two sets, after sweeping the Bulldogs (8-5-3) earlier this month at the Notre Dame Volleyballfest.

"It was pretty much the same kind of game, pretty intense," St. Vincent coach Mary Rosenquist said.

Kelsey Kutz had seven kills for the Squaws, Lauren Schumer had five kills and Kelsey Cissell added 11 assists.

"We played well in that first set," Rosenquist said. "Our offense and blocking were tremendous.

"Notre Dame is not to be taken lightly."
