David Weibrecht

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- David W. Weibrecht, 61, of Perryville died Monday, June 16, 2003, at Perry County Nursing Home.

He was born April 12, 1942, in Perry County, son of Alvin and Elva Zahner Weibrecht.

He was formerly married to Stella Renner of Perryville.

He worked at International Shoe Company and was a member of the Sportman's Club in Perryville, a VFW booster, American Legion booster and AmVets booster. He was a member of Elks Lodge 2701 and a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus, third degree.

Survivors include a daughter, Sara Weibrecht of Perryville; three brothers, Larry Weibrecht, Mark Weibrecht and Ken Weibrecht, all of Perryville; and four sisters, Velda Walker of Arnold, Mo., Diane Denstedt of Webster Groves, Mo., Sandy Lohmann of Perryville and Karen Okenfuss of Ste. Genevieve, Mo.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.

Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today at Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. An Elks service will be at 7 p.m. today, and parish prayers will be at 7:30 p.m. today. Visitation will continue from 6:30 to 11:20 a.m. Thursday.

Funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville, with the Rev. Alphonse Hoernig officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery in Perryville.
