State-ranked Central (19-5-1) will carry a three-game losing streak into Monday's start of district play.

The Tigers have been outscored 9-0 in their last three games, although they have faced three of the St. Louis area's top programs in Summit (17-6-3), DeSmet and Lafayette.

"We played three very good teams," Central coach Tom Doyle said. "Hopefully it shows what we have to do to step up if we get past districts."

JV -- Central won 2-0; Jesse Lawrence scored two goals.
