Mary Johnson

Mary Ann Johnson, 68, of Millersville, died Sunday, June 22, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Nov. 12, 1934, at Sikeston, Mo., daughter of Jacob Harlem and Edna Blanche Smith Dunn. She and J.R. Johnson were married Jan. 18, 1959, at Marble Hill, Mo. He died Dec. 8, 1999.

Johnson was a dietitian at Jackson Manor for 23 years, retiring in 2002. She was a member of the Shawnee Church of Christ in Jackson.

Survivors include two sons, Dr. John Johnson of Holidaysburg, Pa., and James Johnson of Millersville; a brother, Jacob Murray Dunn of Marble Hill; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Cracraft-Miller Chapel in Jackson. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel, with Bryan McAlister officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories at Sedgewickville, Mo.
