Gifts needed for girls, stroke victim

A single mother with three daughters, ages 12, 15 and newborn, asks for Christmas gifts for all her girls, without specific requests. Preteen and teenage girls can always use gift cards.

Christmas for the Elderly

Mr. E lives at home with his wife on a disability income. A recovering stroke victim, Mr. E has asked for extra large pajamas, shirts or T-shirts in any color and brand. He's also not fussy about the color of socks or jeans he'd be happy to receive. Sock size is 10 to 13, jeans 42 x 30. A fruit basket would brighten the couple's Christmas.

Donations can be dropped off at the Southeast Missourian offices. Monetary donations can be mailed to P.O. Box 4, Cape Girardeau, Mo. 63702-0004.
