Ministry on the river: First Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau is collecting bags of individually wrapped hard candy for barge workers at Christmas.

FISH canned goods collection: Trinity Lutheran Church is collecting canned goods for the local FISH food pantry through the end of December.

Collection for Safe House: Beginning Dec. 4, First Christian Church in Cape Girardeau will collect items for the Safe House for Women, including detergent, paper products, pre-paid phone cards, pajamas and backpacks.
