Kimberly Kay Berner and John Craig Mills were united in marriage Oct. 22, 2005, at First General Baptist Church. The Rev. Sam Ramdial performed the ceremony. Organist was Metta Matthews of Cape Girardeau, and soloist was John L. Mills of Cape Girardeau, father of the groom.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Ronald L. Werner and Mr. and Mrs. John L. Mills, all of Cape Girardeau.

Matron of honor was Priscilla Holzbauer of Cape Girardeau. Bridesmaids were Wendy McKee of Cape Girardeau, cousin of the groom, and Stacey Marshall of Valparaiso, Ind., sister of the groom.

Shannon Mills of Cape Girardeau was his brother's best man. Groomsmen were Mike Reger of Elkhorn, Neb., and Darren Walters of Glendale, Mo. Ushers were Aric Holzbauer, son of the bride, and Clayton Marshall of Valparaiso, nephew of the groom.

Flower girl was Morgan Berner, daughter of the bride.

Prim Schenck of Cape Girardeau attended the guest book.

The reception was held at Heartland Banquet Hall. Server was Brenda Unsbee of Cape Girardeau.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner at the church hall.

Mrs. Mills is a graduate of Central High School. She is employed at Creative Compounds in Scott City.

The groom is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. He is employed at Cape Girardeau Regional Airport.

A wedding trip is planned later.

The couple is residing in Cape Girardeau.
