Santa please bring clothes and NASCAR to sisters

Lindsay, 11, loves NASCAR and so does her 11-year-old sister, Christine, and 12-year-old sister, Missy. The girls enjoy sports and although they have each other to play with, if Santa could supply a basketball, football or softballs and gloves, they would put them to good use. All three sisters are size 3 to 5 junior in pants. Missy needs tops in junior 7 to 8. Bibles for Christine and Missy would make Christmas more meaningful and familiar board games like Monopoly and Sorry are specific wishes. Lip gloss, makeup and jewelry would make these sisters happy at Christmas.

Needs are great for woman and her son

Ms. H. lives with her disabled son in a home that barely shelters them. There is no running water and broken windows cut down on the benefits that their two secondhand space heaters provide. Purchased at yard sales, the heaters really need to be replaced for the safety of this family.

There is a need for electric blankets since space heaters don't work as effectively as forced heat. When temperatures turn icy these gifts from people who care will surely be remembered.

Mrs. H had heart surgery, lives with diabetes and arthritis and needs knee replacement. To ease the burden of all her health problems some warm shoes are greatly needed since the only footwear she owns is a pair of sandals. Sweatsuits for her son in size 2X and size 3X for Ms. H, along with 2X coats for both would help to keep them warm.

A dormitory-sized refrigerator is all they have to keep food in. Some expansion on the appliance would cut down on trips to the supermarket, a struggle for Ms. H with her health problems and not an option for her disabled son.

These individuals with little resources will benefit from just about any Christmas gift. Suggestions of needed items include dog food for small dogs, cleaning supplies and paper products, toiletries.
