DONGOLA, Ill. -- Donnie McCommons, 63, of Dongola died Monday, Dec. 12, 2005, at his home. He was born Nov. 22, 1942, in Anna, Ill., son of Ira J. and Betty June Hileman McCommons. He is survived by two sons, Bruce McCommons of Jonesboro, Ill., Scott McCommons of Anna; two daughters, Johnna Johnson of Doniphan, Mo., Mandy Kahl of Jonesboro; her parents, Ira "Jod" and Betty June McCommons of Dongola; a brother, Joe McCommons of Dongola; seven grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter...

DONGOLA, Ill. -- Donnie McCommons, 63, of Dongola died Monday, Dec. 12, 2005, at his home.

He was born Nov. 22, 1942, in Anna, Ill., son of Ira J. and Betty June Hileman McCommons.

He is survived by two sons, Bruce McCommons of Jonesboro, Ill., Scott McCommons of Anna; two daughters, Johnna Johnson of Doniphan, Mo., Mandy Kahl of Jonesboro; her parents, Ira "Jod" and Betty June McCommons of Dongola; a brother, Joe McCommons of Dongola; seven grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with George McCommons officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.
