SEDGEWICKVILLE, Mo. -- Vera A. Grantham, 95, formerly of Sedgewickville, died Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2005, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born March 8, 1910, near Sedgewickville, daughter of Robert N. and Elizabeth Thiele Sebaugh. She and Ray N. Grantham were married June 9, 1945. He died Nov. 21, 2003.

Grantham was a teacher 30 years in the Patton-Sedgewickville School District, retiring in 1966. She was a lifelong member of Sedgewickville Lutheran Church, where she formerly taught Sunday school and played the piano.

Survivors include a daughter, Sonya Grantham of Sedgewickville.

She was preceded in death by an infant daughter and two sisters.

Friends may call at Sedgewickville Lutheran Church from 9 a.m. to service time Friday.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with the Rev. Albert Nyland officiating. Burial will be in Sedgewickville Cemetery.
