April D. Matlock and Charles W. Meyer were united in marriage Oct. 1, 2005, at Christ Lutheran Church in Gordonville. Gary Hoffstetter performed the ceremony. Music was provided by Pat Palisch.

Parents of the bride are Gary and Patty Matlock of Gordonville. The groom is the son of Linda Meyer-Brewer of Frohna, Mo., and the late Robert Meyer.

The bride was presented in marriage by her parents.

Maid of honor was Laura Matlock of Cape Girardeau. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Camden of Sedgewickville, Mo., Dana Murphy of Jackson, Kara Martyn of Frohna, and Emily Miesner of Jackson. Junior bridesmaid was Taylor Matlock of Jackson.

Kyle Miesner of Jackson was best man. Groomsmen were Larry Meyer, Chad Miesner and Kevin Martyn, all of Frohna, and Greg Meyer of Biehle, Mo. Junior groomsman was Justin Gordon of Sikeston. Ushers were Gary Matlock of Jackson and Bobby Meyer of Uniontown, Mo. Junior groomsman was Justin Gordon of Sikeston, Mo.

Candlelighters were Paige Meyer of Perryville, Mo., and Lane Gordon of Sikeston, Mo.

Flower girl was Cambreigh Matlock, daughter of Gary and Laura Matlock. Ringbearer was Tyson Stueve, son of Glen and Valerie Stueve of Farrar, Mo.

Sunni Myers was program attendant.

The reception was held at the American Legion Hall in Jackson. Servers were Connie Adams, Mary Meyer, Pearla Murphy and Donna Skelton.

The rehearsal dinnner was Sept. 30 at the church parish hall.

Mrs. Meyer is a 2000 graduate of Jackson High School, and received a bachelor's degree in nursing from Southeast Missouri State University in 2004. She is a registered nurse at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

The groom is a graduate of Perryville High School. He is employed with Hacker Plumbing, Heating and Cooling Inc.

After a wedding trip to the Bahamas, the couple is residing in Jackson.
