Thorne-Meyers

Sunni Ray Thorne and Dennis Lee Meyers Jr. were married Aug. 20, 2005. The Rev. Ann Mowery performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Becky Thorne of Jackson, and the late Don Thorne. The groom is the son of Dennis Meyers Sr. and Launa Rae Warinner of Bailey, Colo., and Joyce and Richard Rowley of Aurora, Colo.

The bride was presented in marriage by her brother, Colton Thorne.

Matron of honor was Monica Cobb of Shawn Air Force Base, S.C., sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Sarah Reiminger of Jackson and Kelly Miller of Jackson.

Jason Tubbs of Cape Girardeau was best man. Groomsmen were Sean Adams of Jackson, cousin of the bride, and Jonathan Schultz of Olive Branch, Ill.

Mindy Sorbello attended the guest book.

The reception was held at Zion United Methodist Church dining hall. Servers were Laura Matlock, cousin of the bride, and Bridgett Meyers, sister of the groom.

Mrs. Meyers is a 2005 graduate of Jackson High School. She is employed at Cape Girardeau County Sheriff's Department.

The groom is a 2003 graduate of Mingo Job Corps. He is employed by Diversco at Dana Corp. in Cape Girardeau.

After a wedding trip to Silver Hills Guest Ranch, the couple is residing in Jackson.
