BENTON, Mo. -- Debbie Lemons Koch, 29, of Benton died Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2005, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, following an extended illness. BENTON, Mo. -- Debbie Lemons Koch, 29, of Benton died Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2005, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, following an extended illness.

She was born Jan. 22, 1976, in Korea, daughter of Johnnie and Kyong "Coffee" Kim Lemons. Debbie and Terry Koch were united in marriage Sept. 12, 1998, at Chaffee, Mo. He survives of the home.

Debbie was a 1995 graduate of Advance High School. She had worked for Girardeau Stevedores and Contractors Inc. in Scott City. She was a homemaker, an avid scrapbooker, and loved camping.

Survivors include her husband; her parents of Advance; a brother, Kevin Lemons of Advance; paternal grandmother, Betty Talley of Brownwood, Mo.; four godchildren, Paige Koch of Chaffee, Jake Koch of Kelso, Mo., Scott Koch of Chaffee, and Skyler Lemons of Sikeston, Mo., and many other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents and paternal grandfather.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance from 5 to 8 p.m. today.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
