MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Lloyd C. "Squeak" Hutson, 83, of Marble Hill died Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2006, at his home.

He was born Feb. 20, 1922, at Delta, son of Columbus W. and Bertha Ann Williams Hutson. He and Hazel Maxine Bollinger were married Jan. 24, 1948, at Lutesville, Mo.

Hutson had been a clerk at Hopkins Hardware.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving in the Asiatic Pacific and American theaters.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Terry Hagerling of Sparta, Ill., Phillip Hutson of Marble Hill, Bradley Hutson of Altenburg, Mo.; a brother, Ellis Hutson of Grassy, Mo.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, four brothers and a grandson.

Friends may call at Hutchings Funeral Chapel from 4 to 8 p.m. today.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Michael Kelpe officiating. Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery, with graveside rites by Military Honors Team.
