Brenda Freeland

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Brenda Carol Freeland, 52, of Chaffee died Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2006, at her home.

She was born Nov. 18, 1953, at Holcomb, Mo., daughter of William Athel and Ada Louise Reese Johnson. She and Steve Freeland were married June 5, 1971.

Freeland was a cashier and sales associate at the One-Stop Store in Chaffee.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Scott Freeland of Chaffee; four daughters, Carole Hoots of Scott City, Evelyn Freeland of Whitewater, Sarah Freeland of Cape Girardeau, Emily Freeland of Chaffee; a brother, Ray Johnson of Navarre, Fla.; two sisters, Jimmie Dean of Port St. Lucie, Fla., Faye Coronado of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; and four grandchildren.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee from 10 a.m. to service time Friday.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Phil Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park in Advance, Mo.
