Teens share fears, thoughts on parents

In a recent study, researchers questioned 46,000 children ages 13 to 18 about their feelings on various subjects.

About half the teenagers said their greatest fear was the possibility of going to war.

About a fourth were afraid they wouldn't graduate high school.

And while nearly half said their parents have a "significant" influence on their decisions, more than a third said they want to improve relations with mom and dad. Harvard psychiatrist Alvin Poussaint said the answers show children want to spend more time with their parents. (From www.wnep.com)

People waiting to 'chip in' on the Xbox360

If you've been trying without success to find an Xbox360 since November, you might want to blame the shortage of Microsoft's new video game console on one of the companies making chips for the machines.

This month, Microsoft also announced an agreement with Epic Records to offer exclusive artist content and high-definition music videos downloads free for all Xbox360 gamers for a year. In the agreement, over the next year Xbox360 and Epic Records will showcase 12 up-and-coming artists through the Artist of the Month (AOM) program via the Xbox Live service. Kicking off the AOM program on Xbox Live is British singer-songwriter Natasha Bedingfield. (from www.news.com and www.pocket-lint.co.uk/news).
