I came back to Cape Girardeau, my hometown, to attend my grandfather's funeral. I was impressed with the respect this town shows. Honor and respect for others is what he liked to teach his family. For the entire length of the funeral procession other motorists pulled to the side of the road and stopped till we passed. My grandfather would have liked to know that people had that much respect. I would like to thank all of you who pulled over. My grandfather was a wonderful man and loved this town.
