State revenue up for month, fiscal year

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. -- Net state general revenue rose 13.6 percent in March, according to figures released Wednesday by the state treasurer and the Office of Administration. For the three-fourths of the fiscal year that are completed, net revenue rose from $4.63 billion a year ago to $4.95 billion so far this year. March net revenue was $503.3 million, compared with $443 million a year ago.
