Stephanie Louise Roberts and Larry Edward Craft were united in marriage May 17, 2003, at Lynwood Baptist Church. Dr. Derek Staples performed the ceremony. Vocalists were Steve and Linda Meadows of Cape Girardeau. Harp and flute selections were played by Robert and Chade Fruewald.

Readers were Linda Brooks of Quincy, Ill., Jo Ellen Shumate of LaGrange, Mo., aunts of the bride; and Laraine Adams of Jackson.

Parents of the couple are Stephen and Bonnie Roberts of Cape Girardeau, and Edward and Peggy Craft of Jackson.

Matron of honor was Sunday Unger of Owensville, Mo. Bridesmaids were Melinda Roberts of Jackson, Dr. Kismet Roberts of Okinawa, Japan, sisters-in-law of the bride; Dr. Lori Nesslein of Indianapolis, Ind.; and Gloria Sauerbrunn of Cape Girardeau. Junior bridesmaids were Amanda and Megan Roberts, daughters of Eddie and Melinda Roberts and nieces of the bride.

Randy Flath of Jackson served the groom as best man. Groomsmen were Eddie Roberts of Jackson, Maj. Glen Roberts of Okinawa, brothers of the bride; Willie Tatum of McClure, Ill., and Vade Mansker of Jackson. Ushers were Matt Unger of Owensville and Brett Kelley of Cape Girardeau.

The mother of the bride was escorted by Baylen Roberts, son of Glen and Kismet Roberts and nephew of the bride.

Flower girl was Shelby Powers, daughter of Lance and Jennifer Powers of Cape Girardeau. Honorary flower girl was Albany Roberts, daughter of Glen and Kismet Roberts and niece of the bride. Ringbearer was Eric Essner, son of Danny and Jill Essner of Scott City.

Amanda Abner of McClure attended the guest book. Program attendants were Emily and Stephanie Essner, daughters of Danny and Jill Essner. Becki Yetman and Kristin Yetman of Scott City attended the gift table.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the church. Servers were Sherry Ford, Nellie McGill, Daisy Ford and Carol McKinney. A dinner and dance was held later at Cape Girardeau Country Club.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner May 16 at the church.

Mrs. Craft is a graduate of Central High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in special education and a master's degree in elementary administration, both from Southeast Missouri State University. She is a special education teacher at Scott City Elementary School.

The groom is a graduate of Jackson High School. He is employed at Burch Foods.

The couple resides in Jackson.
