Helen Casey

OLMSTED, Ill. -- Helen Anna Casey, 86, of Olmsted died Sunday, April 16, 2006, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Dec. 5, 1919, in St. Louis, daughter of John and Anna Traum Frisch Jr. She married Oliver Casey, who died in 1971.

Casey was a graduate of St. Louis Business College, and was an accountant at Interco Corp. She was a member of Olmsted United Methodist Church, Order of Eastern Star in Olive Branch, Ill., Grand Chain Home Extension, Smiles I in Mounds, Ill., and was a past worthy matron of Meridian Eastern Star Chapter 442 in St. Louis.

Survivors include four daughters, Ethel Woods and Betty Bennett of Benton, Ill., Lucille Bierbaum of Olmsted, Helen Evans of Houston, Texas; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister.

Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Ullin, Ill., from 5 to 8 p.m. today. An Eastern Star service will be held at 7.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Pete Ryan officiating. Burial will be in Valhalla Memorial Gardens in Belleville, Ill.
