The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

* Michael E. Uhl, 19, of Cuba, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and a red light violation.

Arrests

* Duante J. Smith, 27, of Portageville, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of absconding while on parole. He also received a summons for disturbing the peace and possession of drug paraphernalia.

* Michael D. Johnson, 27, of 943 Bellevue St., No. 6, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for assault.

* Ronald S. Cochran, 35, of 801 S. Pacific St., was arrested on a Stoddard County warrant for failure to appear.

* Michael E. Uhl, 19, Colin J. Mullally, 19, Brett F. Fieser, 20, and Corey A. Herrell, 20, all of Cuba, Mo., were arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

* A subject is in custody pending formal charges on suspicion of tampering with a motor vehicle and possession of a controlled substance at 1105 Independence St.

Summons

* Chase J. Eskew, 22, of 215 Lakeview, Scott City, received a summons for having an open container.

* Michael A. Einsporn, 22, and Ian J. Rappold of 1527 New Madrid St., received a summons for maintaining a disorderly house.

Assault

* An assault was reported at 505 N. Kingshighway.

Thefts

* J.C. Penney reported clothing taken. A subject is in custody.

* Rhodes, 1624 N. Kingshighway, reported gasoline stolen.

* Alpha Phi Alpha, 409 N. Pacific St., reported money taken.

* A window was reported broken and CD adapter taken at 3122 Themis St.

* CDs were reported taken at 3002 Themis St.

* Fishing net was reported taken at 1222 N. Spanish St.

* Claire's Boutique, 3049 William St., reported a necklace and bracelet taken. A 16-year-old juvenile was taken into custody in connection with the complaint.

* Rhodes 101, 1126 N. Sprigg St., reported gasoline taken.

* Jewelry, tires and wheels were reported taken from 40 Schonoff Lane.

* A cell phone was reported taken at 205 Caruthers Ave.

* A cell phone was reported taken at 829 S. Kingshighway.

* J.C. Penney, 3049 William St., reported jewelry, clothes and cologne taken. Three subjects were arrested and later released pending charges.

Property damage

* A vehicle's dashboard was reported damaged and a stereo stolen at 3122 Themis St.

* Doorframe damage was reported at 426 Bellevue St., No. 2.

* A vehicle's door and handle was reported damaged at 3002 Themis St., Apt. 2.

* Concrete column toppers were reported damaged at 212 N. Main St.

* Pyramid Home Health Services, 18 N. Main St., reported a sprinkler system wire damaged.

* A vehicle window was reported broken and speakers taken at 3122 Themis St.

* A vehicle window was reported broken at 1546 Dunklin St.

Miscellaneous

* Sonic reported a counterfeit $10 bill.
