Krista Dawn Brown and Michael Eric Yount were married Oct. 15, 2005, at Linn Memorial Methodist Church. Dr. Derek Staples performed the ceremony. Scripture readers were Julie McGowen and Magin Patrick. Organist was Ruth Spayde of Fayette, Mo., trumpeter was Sarah Malan of Marshall, Mo., pianist was Lisa Toll of Cape Girardeau, and soloist was the groom.

Parents of the couple are Don and Mary Brown of Fayette, and Grady and Christy Yount of Cape Girardeau.

Maid of honor was Kelli Brown of Fayette, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Lindsey McNally of Seattle, Wash., Teviya Johnson of Virginia Beach, Va., Casey Gentry of Columbia, Mo., and Nicole Price of Poplar Bluff, Mo.

Kirk Yount of St. Louis was his brother's best man. Groomsmen were Taylor Brown of Fayette, brother of the bride; Alex Elfrink, Jeff Chapman and Keith Benton, all of Cape Girardeau.

Candlelighters were Tristin Brown of Rolla, Mo., and Colin Hayes of St. James, Mo., cousins of the bride.

Flower girls were Halle Twidwell of Scott Air Force Base, Ill., cousin of the groom; Eleanor Goodridge of Rolla and Olivia Gable of Houston, Mo., cousins of the bride. Ringbearer was Brody Brown of Rolla, cousin of the bride.

Guest book attendants were Julie McGowen and Magin Patrick.

The outdoor reception was held at the home of the bride's parents.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Oct. 14 at Emmet's in Fayette.

Mrs. Yount received a master of arts degree in communication disorders from Southeast Missouri State University. She is a speech-language pathologist at Jefferson City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

The groom received a degree in nursing from Southeast Missouri Hospital College of Nursing and Health Sciences. He is a registered nurse in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at the University of Missouri Hospital.

After a wedding trip to Negril, Jamaica, the couple resides in Columbia, Mo.
