Tennessee Tech completed a dominant run through Ohio Valley Conference softball this season Saturday as the host Eaglettes won the OVC tournament title in Cookeville, Tenn.

The top-seeded Eaglettes beat sixth-seeded Eastern Kentucky 3-0 for their third shutout in as many tournament games.

Tech (50-13), the OVC regular-season champion, captured the league tournament for the second straight year to earn an automatic NCAA tournament berth.

Senior catcher Lyndsey Webb was the only Southeast Missouri State representative on the all-tournament squad. The Redhawks won their opening tournament game but then dropped their next two.
