Catfish dinner with music aids youth mission

The New McKendree United Methodist Church will host an all-you-can-eat catfish dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the South Campus, just outside of Jackson on Highway 25. Menu is chicken, spiral potatoes, baked beans, cole slaw, desserts and drinks. Discounted meals are available for children 6 to 12; children 5 and under eat free. The Whistle Stop Wesleys will provide musical entertainment between 5 and 6 p.m. All proceeds will be donated to the New McKendree Youth Group for its mission trip to Moss Point, Miss., to help victims of Hurricane Katrina.
