Mack posts victory at Poplar Bluff track

Joey Mack won the dirt late model feature Saturday night at the Poplar Bluff Speedway, claiming his second feature win at the track.

After he won his heat on a last-lap pass, Mack led every lap of the feature. He had won at the track on March 25.

"It was a great night for us and our car worked really well from the time we unloaded," said Mack, a Benton, Mo., resident. "The car count was high for Poplar Bluff, and there was a great field of cars, so that makes the win even sweeter."

In nine dirt late model events this year, Mack has the two wins at Poplar Bluff to go with five other top-10 runs, including three in his five Mid America Racing Series events.
