The Cape Girardeau American Legion junior team split a home doubleheader with Scott County on Monday. Scott County won the opening game 6-1, and Cape used a pinch-hit single in the bottom of the seventh for a 6-5 win in the second game. Trey Miller came off the bench for the game-winning hit for Cape (3-4). Nick Allen had three hits in the second game for Cape, and Alex Shell and Blake Smith had two hits apiece.
