Allen Lloyd

Allen G. Lloyd, 65, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, July 27, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center.

He was born Oct. 28, 1937, in Logan, Utah, son of Allen and Barbara Cutler Willison. He and Jacquie C. Sproat were married July 21, 1965, in Las Vegas, Nev.

Lloyd was a criminal identification detective 15 years in Las Vegas. He moved to Cape Girardeau in 1987 and was a security guard at Westfield Shoppingtown, retiring in January 2000.

He attended Austin Peay University in Clarksville, Tenn. He served in the U.S. Army with the 101st Airborne Division.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Jeff Lloyd of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Kari Williams of Perryville, Mo., Stacey Wathen of Foothill Ranch, Calif.; a brother, Tom Lloyd of Las Vegas; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
