OLIVE BRANCH, Ill. -- Donald B. Myers, 68, of Olive Branch died Saturday, July 8, 2006, at his residence in Olive Branch.

He was born Nov. 2, 1937, in St. Louis, the son of Eugene and Myrtle Bassett Myers. He and Marcella Boedeker Myers were married on Sept. 14, 1957, in East St. Louis, Ill. She survives.

Mr. Myers was of the Lutheran faith and was a member of Friends of Bill W.

He is survived by his wife, Marcella Boedeker Myers of Olive Branch; two sons, Steven Myers and wife Stephanie of Houston, Texas, Scot Myers and wife Lynne of Panama City, Fla.; two daughters, Donna Mey and husband Viiram of Pettigrew, Ark., Kristi Rozier and husband Brian of O'Fallon, Mo.; a brother, Eugene Myers and wife Mary of Pensacola, Fla.; a sister, Ruth Swehla of St. Louis; seven grandchildren, Andrew and Meagan Myers of O'Fallon, Oriana and Jasper Mey of Pettigrew, Scottie and Chance Myers of Panama City, and Zoe Myers of Houston; nine step-grandchildren; and three great-stepgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Myers, and his mother, Myrtle Bassett Myers.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 11, 2006, from 4 to 7 p.m.

Service will be at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 11, 2006, at 7 p.m., with the Rev. Peter Ryan officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society (Mesothelioma Research), 106 Farrar Drive, Cape Girardeau, Mo. 63701

Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
