Blankenship-Cattoor

Shelly Ann Blankenship and Jason Richard Cattoor were married May 3, 2003, at St. Francis Xavier College Church in St. Louis. Music was by the church vocalist and musicians. Eucharistic minister was Tom Cattoor, uncle of the groom.

Lectors were Sally Roth of Mahomet, Ill., and Judy Cashion of Festus, Mo., aunts of the groom. Offertory was by Karen Toomey of Yorba Linda, Calif., and Denny Cattoor of Perryville, Mo., godparents of the groom.

The bride is the daughter of James and Linda Blankenship of Barnhart, Mo. The groom is the son of H. Richard and Nancy Cattoor of Cape Girardeau.

Maid of honor was Lorraine Blankenship of Fenton, Mo., sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Amy Cattoor of St. Charles, Mo., sister-in-law of the groom; Jodi Horrom of Maryland Heights, Mo., Melinda Ameiss of St. Louis, Priscilla Lim of Manchester, Mo., and Rebecca Jackson of St. Louis.

Jared Cattoor of St. Charles served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Jeff Bauwens of Jackson, Chris Kirn of Quincy, Ill., Mark Kaempfe of Farrar, Mo., Scott Neels and Stanley Naeger of Manchester. Ushers were David Michaud of St. Charles and Scott Layton of Barnhart.

Guest book attendant was Mindy Cattoor, cousin of the groom. Emily Lowery handed out programs.

Following the ceremony, the reception was held at Two Hearts Banquet Center in Sunset Hills, Mo.

The rehearsal dinner was held May 2 at Rich and Charlie's in Crestwood, Mo.

Mrs. Cattoor is a 1998 graduate of St. Louis University, and is pursuing a master's degree in business administration at Washington University. She is a certified public accountant and supervisor of wholesaler budgets and orders in the merchandising systems department of Anheuser-Busch Inc.

The groom is a 1994 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University, and received a master's degree in business administration from Washington University in 2002. He is a certified public accountant and team leader in the internal audit services department of Anheuser Busch.

After a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple is residing in Maryland Heights.
