Also triple kudos to John Helderman's letter regarding President Truman's bold decision to end World War II. They whose hearts bleed so excessively for the poor victims of the bomb need to study the history of Japanese cruelty and atrocities.

I too am a World War II veteran. We were on Guam wondering what was in our future. Thank you, President Truman.
