Nancy Ann Webb, 59, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Aug. 4, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born May 3, 1944, in Leonard, Ark., daughter of John William "Bill" and Flora Jesse Elrod Boyd. She and James Kenneth Webb were married June 2, 1962, in Leonard.

Formerly of Rector, Ark., Webb was a member of the Methodist Church of Leonard.

Survivors include her husband; a son, James Webb of Cape Girardeau; three daughters, Teresa Rimer of Chattanooga, Tenn., Kenda Girod of Cape Girardeau, Kimberly Hottes of Advance, Mo.; a brother, George "Pete" Boyd of Rector; a sister, Nelda Acuff of Indianapolis, Ind.; and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, a sister, and a grandson.

The funeral was held Thursday at Irby Funeral Home in Rector, with James Dortch officiating. Burial was in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector.
