PUXICO, Mo. -- Darrell Tolbert of Puxico, was born Dec. 7, 1949, at Bloomfield, Mo., the son of Cletis and Pauline Accord Tolbert and passed away Aug. 26, 2006, at the Veterans Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. Darrell had worked in the concrete construction business. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Bethel General Baptist Church near Advance, Mo. He enjoyed training coon hounds as well as coon hunting and fishing...

PUXICO, Mo. -- Darrell Tolbert of Puxico, was born Dec. 7, 1949, at Bloomfield, Mo., the son of Cletis and Pauline Accord Tolbert and passed away Aug. 26, 2006, at the Veterans Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.

Darrell had worked in the concrete construction business. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Bethel General Baptist Church near Advance, Mo. He enjoyed training coon hounds as well as coon hunting and fishing.

Darrell is survived by his father, Cletis Tolbert of Greenbrier, Mo.; a daughter and son-in-law, Monica and Gary Heller of Lone Grove, Okla.; three sons, Todd Tolbert of Advance, Mo., Robbie Tolbert of Lone Grove, Okla., and Dusty Tolbert of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Larry Tolbert of Greenbrier; two sisters, Pauletta Hendrix of Zalma, Mo., and Patricia Mitchell of Essex, Mo.; and two grandchildren, Riley and Sailor Heller of Lone Grove.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Pauline Tolbert.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance, Mo., from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Ray Placher will officiate, with burial with full military honors in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Mo.
