Trinity Lutheran Church was the setting Feb. 18, 2006, for the wedding of Leslie Dawn Wunderlich and Gregory Don Hellwege. The Rev. Douglas Breite performed the ceremony. Organist was Dotti Meyr and soloist was Brandon Haas of Cape Girardeau. A duet was presented by Julie LoMedico of Manchester, Mo., and Charlie Vaughn of Cape Girardeau.

The bride is the daughter of Linda and David Boren of Cape Girardeau and Darrel and Charlotte Wunderlich of Gilbertsville, Ky. The groom is the son of Don and Sue Hellwege of Cape Girardeau.

Matrons of honor were Dalena Mullins, sister of the bride, and Melissa Winkler, both of Cape Girardeau. Bridesmaids were Ashley McElreath; Jessica Sims; Sara Baker; Linda Smiley-Boren; Jennifer Boren, cousin of the bride, all of Cape Girardeau; Christina Dodd of Scott City, cousin of the bride; and Mandy Fritsche of St. Louis.

Chris Davis of Cape Girardeau was best man. Groomsmen were Tony Stewart and Scott Hopper of St. Louis; Luke Dry of Jackson; Eric Kelley, Shawn Pemberton, Adam Baker, Chad Brueckner, Byron Pletcher and Anthony Boren, brother-in-law of the groom, all of Cape Girardeau; and Brian Ridenour of Fort Worth, Texas. Junior groomsman was Joshua Wunderlich, son of the bride.

Program and Guest book attendants were Jennifer Schlicht and Andrea Parker of Dresden, Tenn., cousins of the groom.

A dinner and dance reception was held at Bavarian Halle in Fruitland.

The rehearsal dinner was held Feb. 17 at Buffalo Wild Wings.

Mrs. Hellwege received a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Southeast Missouri State University in 2005. She is an administrative partner at Saint Francis Medical Center.

The groom received a bachelor of science degree from Southeast. He is an assistant manager at Wells Fargo Financial.

After a wedding trip to Ocho Rios, Jamaica, the couple resides in Cape Girardeau.
