Dorothy A. Ramsey, 73, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Aug. 9, 2003, at Southeast Missouri Hospital. She was born Feb. 9, 1930, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Ivan and Eva Green Borchelt. She and Robert A. Ramsey were married Oct. 5, 1947, in Piggott, Ark. He died Dec. 4, 1995...

Dorothy A. Ramsey, 73, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Aug. 9, 2003, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born Feb. 9, 1930, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Ivan and Eva Green Borchelt.

She and Robert A. Ramsey were married Oct. 5, 1947, in Piggott, Ark. He died Dec. 4, 1995.

She was a former member of TPA and the Christian Art Council in Cape Girar-deau and was active with Job's Daughters Bethel 51.

Survivors include three sons, Robert Ramsey and William Ramsey, both of Cape Girardeau, and David Ramsey of Millersville; two daughters, Patricia Hyde of Houston, Texas, and Teresa Ramsey of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Robert Borchelt of Cape Girardeau; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Cy Smith officiating. Burial will be Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
