Erinn MacKenzie Schermann and Matthew Eric Monette were united in marriage June 7, 2003, at Trinity Episcopal Church in Natchez, Miss. The Very Rev. Zabron A. Davis III performed the ceremony, assisted by the Rev. Paul Stephens. Organist was Brother Vincent Ignatius Bache.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Schermann of Cape Girardeau. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Monette of Pineville, La.

Maid of honor was Holly Schermann of Cape Girardeau, sister of the bride. Matron of honor was Chrissy Maggio of Oxford, Miss. Bridesmaids were Tara Ring of Jackson and Leah Wessel of Springfield, Mo.

The groom chose his brother, Michael Monette of Covington, La., as best man. Groomsmen were Ted Gloppe, Shawyn Mars and Van Strahan, all of Natchez. Ushers were Clayton and Colin Schermann, brothers of the bride.

Eucharistic ministers were Dr. Bruce Scarborough and Stanford Rayne of Natchez. The Rev. Samuel Tomlinson of Natchez was lector. Oblationers were Katie Thompson, John and James Terrell, niece and nephews of the groom. Intercessors were Marie Monette, sister of the groom, and Clayton Schermann. Acolytes were Laura Beth and Paul Hendrix and Ginnie and Steve Scarborough, all of Natchez.

Kally Hodgson of Florence, Ala., attended the guest book.

The reception was held in the Carriage House at Stanton Hall. Servers were Jan Scarborough, Susan Hudson and Delight Erickson, all of Natchez.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner June 6 at Kuehnle Hall.

Mrs. Monette received a degree in chemical engineering from the University of Mississippi in 2002. She is employed in global sourcing with International Paper in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The groom received a degree in mechanical engineering from Louisiana State University in 1992. He is a pulp/power environmental engineer with International Paper.

The couple resides in Loveland, Ohio.
