MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Carla Jean Cook and Mark William Statler were married June 21, 2003, in an outdoor garden setting at the home of Christo and Terre Chriss of Millersville, cousins of the groom. The Revs. Ron and Patricia Inkenbrandt performed the ceremony.

Bobby and Joyce Lincoln of Marble Hill are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Jack and Vicki Statler of Cape Girardeau.

The bride was presented in marriage by Dylan Statler, and Jacob and Jedidiah Cook, sons of the couple.

Matron of honor was Terri Dietiker of Perryville, Mo.

John Harris of Cape Girardeau was best man.

Following the ceremony, a brunch was held at the Chriss home.

The groom is employed with Bricklayers Local 23.

After a wedding trip to Hot Springs, Ark., the couple resides in the Patton/Marble Hill area.
