Scott City native joins HealthSouth

Jacob Pattengill, a 1996 Kelly High School graduate, has been hired to manage HealthSouth's Cape Girardeau clinic at 240 S. Mount Auburn Road. Pattengill has worked for HealthSouth before, as a fitness instructor right out of high school. But the opportunity for a degree in physical therapy drew him to Maryville University of St. Louis. After graduation, the Scott City began his career with SSM Rehab, where he practiced outpatient orthopedics. He left SSM to become an associate clinic director for Pro Rehab, a private rehab company in St. Louis.
