Glen Arthur Turnbough, 65, of Jackson died Thursday, Sept. 14, 2006, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. He was born March 9, 1941, in Bonne Terre, Mo., son of Arthur and Evelyn Eichorn Turnbough. He and Anna Dean Hobeck were married June 20, 1959...

Glen Arthur Turnbough, 65, of Jackson died Thursday, Sept. 14, 2006, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born March 9, 1941, in Bonne Terre, Mo., son of Arthur and Evelyn Eichorn Turnbough. He and Anna Dean Hobeck were married June 20, 1959.

Turnbough was a butcher for Central Packing Co. in Cape Girardeau for 17 years and retired in 2004 from Fruitland Dressed Meats after 25 years. He also did carpentry and electrical work. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Millersville.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Tammy Jones of Independence, Mo., Becky Halbrook of Jackson; two brothers, Kenneth Turnbough of Perryville, Mo., James Turnbough of Jackson; four sisters, Janet Meyer of Biehle, Mo., Joyce Reimer of Chester, Ill., Carol Wahlers of Jackson, Bonnie Geringer of Perryville; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter and a sister.

Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dean Heady officiating. Burial will be at New Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery near Daisy, Mo.
