MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Sadie Viola Myers Hinkle, 84, of Marble Hill died Sunday, Sept. 17, 2006, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born Oct. 31, 1921, at Zalma, Mo., daughter of Jess and Minnie Irvin Myers. She and Glen Hinkle were married Jan. 21, 1942, at Marble Hill...

MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Sadie Viola Myers Hinkle, 84, of Marble Hill died Sunday, Sept. 17, 2006, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Oct. 31, 1921, at Zalma, Mo., daughter of Jess and Minnie Irvin Myers. She and Glen Hinkle were married Jan. 21, 1942, at Marble Hill.

Hinkle retired as a cook and teachers aide from Zalma School District.

Survivors include three daughters, Sharon Kay Hinkle and Diana Sue Hinkle of Alton, Ill., Mary Louella Summers of Farmington, Mo.; three brothers, Lorance Myers of Puxico, Mo., Lowell Myers of Advance, Mo., Clarence Myers of Gipsy, Mo.; two sisters, Marie Lacy of Arab, Mo., Beulah Stilts of Gipsy; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four brothers.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance from 11:30 a.m. to service time Thursday.

The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. LeeRoy Hefner officiating. Burial will be in Berrong Cemetery at Gipsy.
