Rex M. Nations, 82, of Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau died Sunday, Sept. 17, 2006, at the veterans home. He was born May 11, 1924, at Farmington, Mo., son of Homer and Gertrude Nations. He and Patsy L. Garrett were married Dec. 29, 1955. She died July 5, 1999...

Rex M. Nations, 82, of Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau died Sunday, Sept. 17, 2006, at the veterans home.

He was born May 11, 1924, at Farmington, Mo., son of Homer and Gertrude Nations. He and Patsy L. Garrett were married Dec. 29, 1955. She died July 5, 1999.

Mr. Nations was a member of Mount Auburn Christian Church.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include two sons from a previous marriage, Leslie Rex Nations and David Warren Nations.

There is no visitation.

Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau. Graveside rites will be at 2 p.m. Friday.

Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
