Marjorie C. Springmeyer Fowler, 84, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, Sept. 24, 2006, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born June 3, 1922, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of V.E. and Evelyn Parks Jones. She married Frank Springmeyer.

Fowler worked more than 20 years at Sears in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include three sons, Brad Springmeyer of St. Louis; Harry C. Springmeyer of Hendersonville, Tenn.; Rodger Springmeyer of Redwood City, Calif.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters.

Friends may call Thursday from 6 to 7 p.m. at McCombs Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dan Brown officiating.
