CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Mary Mae Dennis, 93, of Chaffee died Thursday, Oct. 19, 2006, at Saint Francis Medical Center. She was born Jan. 26, 1913, at Chaffee, daughter of William Henry and Susan Elizabeth Stidham White. She and Aubrey C. Dennis were married Nov. 23, 1931. He died Dec. 31, 2002...

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Mary Mae Dennis, 93, of Chaffee died Thursday, Oct. 19, 2006, at Saint Francis Medical Center.

She was born Jan. 26, 1913, at Chaffee, daughter of William Henry and Susan Elizabeth Stidham White. She and Aubrey C. Dennis were married Nov. 23, 1931. He died Dec. 31, 2002.

Dennis was a member of First United Methodist Church in Chaffee.

Survivors include two sons, Charles W. Dennis of Festus, Mo., Robert Dennis of Chaffee; a daughter, Marilyn Dohogne of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Camille Crumbaugh of Springfield, Ill., Carol Morris Whitler of Jackson, Martha Stanridge of Sikeston, Mo.; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, three sisters and a grandson.

Friends may call at 4 p.m. Monday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Marty Blakey officiating. Interment will be in Union Park Cemetery at Chaffee.
