The Cape Girardeau school board won't sell Schultz School to a Kansas construction company because the price was too low, school officials said today.
The board, meeting in closed session on Tuesday, rejected the $350,000 bid from Garrison Construction of Prairie Village, Kan. It was the only bid received for the school property at 101 S. Pacific St.
Schultz School, formerly a high school and middle school, currently houses the Cape Girardeau School District's alternative school.
