Megan Leigh Thiele and Brandon Christopher Lorenz were united in marriage Sept. 30, 2006, at First Presbyterian Church in Jackson. Terry Culbertson performed the ceremony. Violinist was Suzanne Wittwer of Columbia, Mo.

Ed and Doris Thiele of Jackson are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Dane and Sherry Lorenz of Fruitland, and Todd and Teresa Burns of Jackson.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father.

Maid of honor was Catie Myers of Jackson. Bridesmaids were Fallan Thiele of Columbia, sister of the bride, and Danielle Thiele of Jackson, cousin of the bride.

Justin Lorenz of Jackson was his brother's best man. Groomsmen were Joe Walter of New York, N.Y., and Josh Tomlin of Columbia.

Miniature bride and groom were Sydney Lorenz, sister of the groom, and Devin Sandin, cousin of the bride.

Mandie Foltz attended the guest book.

The reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall. Servers were Nancy Stearns of Perryville, aunt of the bride, and Drenna Overbey of Cape Girardeau, aunt of the groom.

The couple's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Sept. 29 at the home of the bride's parents.

Mrs. Lorenz is a 2002 graduate of Jackson High School. She received a degree in fine art from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2006. She is a freelance photographer and graphic designer in Columbia.

The groom is a 2001 graduate of Jackson High School. He received a degree in mechanical engineering from the university in 2005. He is employed with Polymers in Columbia.

After a wedding trip to Boston, Mass., the couple resides in Columbia.
