William Howard "Bill" Gerhardt, 34, of Warrenton, Mo., died Monday, Nov. 6, 2006, at St. John's Mercy Hospital in Washington, Mo.

He was born Dec. 20, 1971, in Cape Girardeau, son of Reginald and Dolores Linebarger Gerhardt. He married Jennifer Shanks.

Gerhardt was owner of a Sears store in Warrenton. He was a member of the Chamber of Commerce and Rotary Club in Warrenton.

Survivors include his wife; a son, William Gerhardt II of Warrenton; three daughters, Kaytelyn and Julia Hargraves and Maddison Gerhardt, all of Warrenton; his mother of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Victoria Farrar of Cedar Park, Texas; and grandmother, Rose Linebarger of Cape Girardeau.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to service time Thursday at Pitman Funeral Home in Warrenton.

The funeral will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dan Loesch officiating. A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
