BrainLAB execs attend 'White Coat' event

Executives representing BrainLAB, an award-winning innovator in image-guided surgery and stereotactic radiosurgery, were among guests attending a Novalis White Coat Ambassador program held recently at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. The hospital is one of two in Missouri and 82 medical institutions worldwide to offer Novalis Shaped Beam Surgery. The program series is to better acquaint community leaders throughout the area with the benefits of the surgery. Dr. Scott R. Gibbs, a Cape Girardeau neurosurgeon with the Brain and NeuroSpine Clinic of Missouri, and Dr. Joseph P. Miller, medical director of radiation oncology at Southeast Missouri Hospital, led guests through demonstrations of Vector Vision image guided surgery for brain tumors and the Novalis system.
