BENTON, Mo. -- Mr. and Mrs. Harold N. Dittlinger of Benton celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with mass and a dinner Oct. 21, 2006, at St. Denis Catholic Church.

Dittlinger and Barbara Thompson were married Oct. 20, 1956, at St. Denis Church by the Rev. Seyer.

Their attendants were Joan Rock and Bill Dittlinger.

Dittlinger served 20 years in the U.S. Air Force.

Their children and spouses are: Cindy (Billy) Dodson of Williamsburg, Va., David (Mary Ann) Dittlinger of Los Angeles, Calif., Greg (Diane) Dittlinger and Rick (Scarlett) Dittlinger of Benton. They have six grandchildren, Joe and Tom Dodson, Kevin and Derek Dittlinger, and Conner and Sydney Dittlinger.
