Jeff and Ellen Gibson of Joplin, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Sara Lynn Gibson, to Keith Robertson Jr. He is the son of Keith and Cynthia Robertson of Joplin, formerly of Cape Girardeau. Jeff and Ellen Gibson of Joplin, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Sara Lynn Gibson, to Keith Robertson Jr. He is the son of Keith and Cynthia Robertson of Joplin, formerly of Cape Girardeau.

Gibson received a bachelor of science degree in elementary education from Missouri Southern State University. She is a fourth grade teacher at Duenweg School in the Joplin School District.

Robertson received a bachelor of arts degree in public relations and a bachelor of science degree in secondary English education from Missouri Southern. He is a high school English teacher in the Carl Junction School District.

A Dec. 16 wedding is planned at Forest Park Baptist Church in Joplin.
