The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Minnie L. Patterson, address not known, was arrested on warrants for contempt of court relating to theft of services and contempt of court for failure to pay fines for driving while intoxicated.
  • Lakeisha S. Lee, 25, of 1819 College St., was arrested on suspicion of stealing.
  • Jimmy L. Bell, 57, of 921 S. Ellis St., was arrested on Cape Girardeau warrants for contempt of court for failure to pay fine and costs for walking in the roadway when a sidewalk is available; and two contempt of court warrants for failure to pay fine and costs for possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • A subject was in custody pending filing of formal charges on suspicion of possessing drug paraphernalia.
  • Everett P. Way, 31, of 1422 Bertling St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for improper registration and driving with a revoked operator's license.

  • A domestic assault was reported.

  • A burglary was reported at 7 N. Benton, Apt. 2. Electronic equipment was reported stolen in the burglary.

Property damage

  • Damaged vinyl siding was reported at 1304 Bertling St. Police also reported unlawful use of a weapon at the same address.

Miscellaneous

  • Telephone harassment was reported.
  • The Department of Social Services requested service assistance.
  • Harassment was reported.
  • A request for service assistance was received from another agency.
