To the editor: When is something going to be done about all the political phone calls we must endure before an election? I was averaging about a dozen calls a day. I tried putting a message on my answering machine stating I did not accept political calls, but that did no good with the prerecorded calls. ...

To the editor: When is something going to be done about all the political phone calls we must endure before an election? I was averaging about a dozen calls a day. I tried putting a message on my answering machine stating I did not accept political calls, but that did no good with the prerecorded calls. This is a gross invasion of privacy. I was so angry I felt like not voting. Maybe that's why there was only about a 50 percent turnout. Between that and the mudslinging lies on TV, I'm surprised anyone voted.
